UC Components, Inc. is the premier US manufacturer of vented screws and fasteners for High Vacuum and Ultra High Vacuum equipment and other clean-critical applications. Their RediVac® screws are designed to provide complete evacuation of trapped volumes of air during pump-down and eliminate “virtual leaks.”
Vented screws are available with center or slot (side) vents. Both vent types offer effective venting in any HV or UHV application. We offer both metric and inch screw sizes, as well as non-vented screws for through-holes in HV and UHV systems and other applications.
Sizes & Styles
Vented and non-vented screws are available in a wide range of sizes and lengths; along with a myriad of custom configurations and options.
Metric-measure screws are manufactured to meet DIN and ISO standards. Inch-measure screws are manufactured to meet ASME standards.
Materials & Finishes
All parts are precision cleaned and packaged in a certified Class 100/ISO Class 5 Cleanroom prior to shipment; which means that all RediVac® products are ready for immediate vacuum service. We offer a variety of vacuum-stable specialty finishes (including WS2 and MoS2 coatings, gold, silver, and nickel) to help boost system performance, reduce corrosion, and prevent galling.
